Sleek but an extra sleeve would make it perfect

Chose the Ulvo 23 over Raven 20, pretty much for the compression strap, sternum strap and aesthetics. I do like the bag a lot. It's sleek. Quality is good. Back panel is impressively sturdy. However, like some people have already commented, I do find myself constantly wishing for at least one more zipped pocket for organization, or another sleeve for a tablet/notebook/documents. I have yet to heard if the interior water proofing layer will de-laminate with age , but if you really prefer longevity and willing to compromise on water resistance, my money is on the Raven 20.

Versatile and clean

This backpack can do it all! It's so spacious to carry whatever you may need in a day but also clean and looks good that you can take it wherever. Would recommend!

Best. Backpack. Ever. (for me!)

I use this back pack as my work bag as well as my carry-on when traveling. It is a sophisticated, well-made backpack that is refined yet rugged at the same time. The logo is very classy too. It holds my hard lunchbox no problem. And when going to work or traveling, that little pocket of space at the top of the bag is perfect for last-minute add-ons. I love the zip pocket inside to hold (& keep) smaller items such as head phone buds, keys, gum, etc. The side access pocket is also a winner, for items that can be accessed without opening the main compartment. The small tab at the bottom back (that they say is good for a red light while bike riding), is the perfect tab to hold the backpack in place as I pull out my lunchbox. I keep trying to find another backpack as good as this minimalist, classy, more professional backpack, and all others fall short. If Fjallraven would please branch out with some other colors, I'd be even more of a happy camper (and would buy them!). Think deep purple or deep red. Fingers crossed!!

Great backpack, especially for the Pacific Northwest.

I have had this backpack since Dec 2019 and have to say it's a great piece of kit. I mainly bought it to store and keep my camera equipment dry while walking on the trails or in the city. Love the Bergshell material and will be buying more of it as time goes by. Please click the link to watch my review. https://youtu.be/TDpLExgpWMw Chuck (@thetraildancer)

Perfect work pack

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is my every day work pack. Super clean design and aesthetic that does not seem out of place in the office but durable enough to be in the outdoors. Laptop sleeve has enough room for a 13 inch MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. Main compartment easily has enough room for a light jacket and the days essentials. The pockets are minimal but it keeps the clutter the out. Fan of the clam shell opening and the light interior.

My office / camera bag

Super minimalist design, waterproof and made from recycled material. Couldn't ask for a better combo. Padded on the inside so my camera / gear is protected. Cleans easily. Very comfortable as well. I definitely recommend this bag to anyone who wants a smallish day waterproof day-pack.

Solid everyday backpack

Love the gray-blue color, reflective logo. The elastic bands on each waterbottle pocket are very stretchy and fit my liter bottle with no fuss. Nice padded shoulder straps and the sternum buckle is an added bonus for denser cargo. 23L is just enough to get by for a few items, but not large enough for any major trips. Most of that room ends up on the top bulging from the U-shaped zipper enclosure. Fabric is indeed waterproof - had a Tennessee light rain and I was worried about my paperback inside. No problems! I wish the laptop pocket had a velcro secure-strap to keep it from falling out from the top, or some other similar enclosure. My laptop has already fallen out once because it simply doesn't go in that deep. Aside from the top, it's adequately protected. Add this and you have a solid partner to the Kanken :)
