Why We Like The Fuego Hooded Down Jacket
As toasty as its name implies, the Cotopaxi Fuego Hooded Down Jacket is a tried-and-true insulated layering staple. Responsibly-sourced, water-resistant 800-fill goose down insulation makes this jacket one that you won't want to take off from fall to spring, while the DWR-finished nylon ripstop shell gives you some added protection against abrasion and light precipitation. The streamlined fit, scuba hood, and elastic binding throughout ensures you move in natural mobility through the mountains, and the included stuff sack safely stashes this jacket compactly in your pack when the adventure comes to an end.

One of the Best jacket I have owned!
I bought this jacket for my husband and one for myself, female version :) Love it! It’s so warm yet very light. I used to buy Patagonia and am glad I found an alternative. 🫶

Cozy and lightweight
Bought this for my husband. He loves it! Keeps him warm and is super lightweight which is convenient for packing. Took it skiing and was cozy under her ski jacket as well.

My next “go to” all around jacket!
Good fit, comfortable, warm and… colorful! My next jacket to handle all that the PNW can throw at it. It has quality materials and should last a long while. Love that it’s lightweight, compactable and warm with a nice hood.

Great all purpose jacket
I needed to upgrade my 20 year old black down puff jacket and was looking one with a hood. The Cotopaxi fit the mark perfectly. It is lighter and less bulky but still provided sufficient warmth. I only wanted an all black jacket but loved how they incorporated the ‘Cotopaxi’ stripes on the inside of the coat.

Lightweight and warm
Love this jacket. The colors are great, it's built well and it's great for traveling because it can be condensed into a small area and carried in a pouch.

En Fuego!
I purchased a Men’s Fuego Hooded Down Jacket 2 weeks ago and I love it! Very light and comfortable. Here in NC, the mornings are still in the 30s but it gets up to nearly 70 during the day. This jacket keeps me warm but doesn’t get too hot either. Great balance. Love the style too. Thank you!!

I love the fit and will keep you warm.
It’s been my go to jacket this winter. I have several down jackets, I would say the main competitor it’s the Patagonia down sweater, which I have a couple of. The one thing I noticed that is superior on the Cotopaxi It’s that you are not going to lose feathers and in my opinion, it’s also warmer.
